Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse with a strong background in pediatric care. The candidate must possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a similar specialty, along with recent pediatric experience. Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age is essential. The role requires rotating shifts to fulfill the operational needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the PICU environment.
• Monitor and evaluate patient’s conditions, including ECG and inotropic support.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while delivering patient care.
• Assist in training and educating clinical staff as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in pediatric nursing.
• Active Ohio nursing license or a compact license required at time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience in ECG rhythm recognition and proficiency with safeMedicate.
• NIHHS certification preferred.
