Night shift: 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing with a focus on cardiovascular patients. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients who have undergone cardiac surgeries or interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a CVICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and post-operative recovery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent CVICU experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Travel experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty is required.
