Skilled Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler Position

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a current WI License and CPR certification, along with a commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards and state laws.
• Document patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by the physician.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance within the unit.
• Provide guidance and clinical expertise to other units and departments.
• Apply critical thinking in regards to patient safety and escalate concerns as needed.

Schedule

This position is a 0.9 FTE day shift from 0630 to 1900, with every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Wisconsin RN License.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or similar environments.

Assignment Duration

This is a short 8-week traveler position.
