Long Term Care LPN - Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Schedule

Day shift options include:

• 6 AM - 6 PM
• 10 AM - 10 PM

Must include every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Long Term Care LPN to provide exceptional patient care in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will be required to float to different areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN required.
• Current New York State LPN license is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Common Patient Diagnoses

The majority of patients will have diagnoses such as dementia.
