Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid Shift: 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting patients through their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Manage patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is required.
• Current RN license must be active and in hand at submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary.
• Specialty experience in ICU, MS, PICU, SDU, PCU, IMC, and Obs is required.
• Must pass a mandatory EKG exam as part of compliance requirements.
• Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies is necessary.
