Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); rotating shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients aged up to 25 years, with specialized experience in epilepsy monitoring and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.
• Perform EKG interpretations and manage inotropic support as needed.
• Support family-centered care by involving parents in the care process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in PICU or related specialty prior to travel assignments.
• 18 months of recent pediatric nursing experience is required; travel experience will suffice.
• Must hold a valid permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are mandatory.
• NIHHS certification is preferred.
