Schedule

Shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holiday responsibilities as per unit policy.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Responsibilities include stabilizing critical patients, providing emotional support to patients and families, and ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage patients effectively based on their emergency needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and efficiently using Meditech.
• Manage urgent care procedures for various emergency cases, including stroke and STEMI.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
