Operating Room Circulator (RN) - Main OR

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator (RN) for a position in the Main OR. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary nurse circulator during a variety of surgical procedures.
• Coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor and document patient status throughout the surgical procedure.
• Provide support and communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Demonstrated operating room experience as a circulator in various service lines is mandatory.
• Preferred experience includes a wide range of surgical procedures, excluding transplants.

Schedule

This is a day shift position, scheduled from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend call is required.
