Registered Nurse - Day Surgery / Preoperative / Postoperative

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a strong background in Day Surgery and Preoperative/Postoperative care. The ideal candidate will have experience using Meditech and performing IV starts. Both adult and pediatric experience is valuable, but candidates focusing on adults will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Day Surgery department.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative care and assessments.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Utilize Meditech for patient charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Meditech and IV starts is essential.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Previous Pre-Admit Testing experience is a plus.

Schedule

This position offers 4x10 shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must be available to work 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays within each schedule period and be willing to work during inclement weather.
