Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit

This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring flexibility to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Step Down Unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with various medical conditions, including nephrology, urology, and renal transplant patients. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and managing patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a Step Down Unit.
• Monitor vital signs and manage patient care effectively.
• Titrate medications such as Cardizem, Nicardipine, Insulin, and Heparin.
• Collaborate with medical professionals and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient conditions accurately in the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in a Step Down or medical-surgical nursing environment.
