Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Physical Therapist provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, as well as state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide integrated care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current California Physical Therapy license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current status.
• Previous Acute Care Hospital experience preferred.

Schedule

This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
