Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Description

The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. This role assumes leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of employees, ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegating work to team members.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications required prior to contract start date.
• Completion of de-escalation training.

Schedule

This is a day shift position, requiring 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
