Adult ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Adult ICU. Candidates must be flexible with shifts and locations and willing to work weekends, holidays, and float per department guidelines. Stroke experience and NIHSS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult ICU patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage life support equipment and administration of medications.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ICU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Current life support certifications (BLS and ACLS) from an approved vendor.
• NIHSS certification required.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Experience with travel nursing is highly preferred.
