Registered Nurse - GI/Endoscopic Procedures

This position is based in North Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients undergoing GI/endoscopic procedures. The role includes assisting with various procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in GI and endoscopic procedures, supporting both patients and physicians.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and provide appropriate post-operative care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required.
• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Preferred experience in ambulatory OR settings.
