Staff Physical Therapist

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend coverage for inpatient/swing bed evaluations.

Job Description

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, consulting, and treating patients, while overseeing the utilization, supervision, and instruction of professional and supportive staff, volunteers, and students in the field of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure that patients are progressed to their prior level of function or maximum medical improvement according to the Plan of Care.
• Conduct appropriate assessments on each patient related to the requested therapy, including required reassessments.
• Maintain accurate records pertinent to patient care, including progress reports and daily notes.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Earned degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
