Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour nights)

Job Description

The Critical Care Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to critically ill patients. This role requires floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed and involves close monitoring and implementation of advanced nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a critical care setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management.
• Develop and maintain accurate patient records and medical histories.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and maintain compliance with hospital guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current Critical Care experience.
• Valid Massachusetts RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
• Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
