Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with every other weekend and holidays required as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and document care provided.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to form treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room experience.
• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Active certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
