Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical-Telemetry unit. This role requires excellent clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• North Carolina RN license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or equivalent training.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting preferred.
