19:00 - 07:00, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate will possess strong de-escalation skills and have experience working with both geriatric and adult patient populations. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a 33-bed psychiatric unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a psychiatric environment.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging patient behaviors.
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
• ADN degree required.
• Current BLS certification.
• CPI, NVCI, or HWC certification required.
