Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Psychiatric Care

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekend hours. Guaranteed hours per week is 36.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to adult patients in a psychiatric health care facility. Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment planning, and direct patient care while ensuring adherence to nursing standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Implement and manage patient treatment plans.
• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established standards.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification can be completed on-site.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Previous experience in psychiatric settings is preferred.
