Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
(40 hours total per week)

Job Description

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. You will be responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients, ensuring effective return to community activities. Additionally, you will serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and yourself.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records clearly, accurately, and timely in compliance with established guidelines.
• Coordinate care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a supportive learning environment.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and involvement in professional activities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.
• Understand and contribute to the organization's performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
