Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with alternating weekends, following a 3/2 split schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for overseeing and managing patient care, performing medical assessments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patients' conditions continually.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in patient care planning and implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active and valid RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience preferred.
