Physical Therapist - Outpatient and Inpatient Acute Swing

Job Description

A Physical Therapist is needed for a hospital-based outpatient and inpatient acute swing at a Critical Access Hospital. This is a 13-week contract position with a focus on providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Schedule

The position requires working three 10-hour days per week, specifically on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, totaling 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy interventions appropriate for both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families regarding rehabilitation techniques and home exercises

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current Physical Therapy experience (Required)
• Outpatient experience (Required)
• Inpatient experience (Highly Preferred)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (Required)
• Current Physical Therapy license in New Hampshire (Required)
