Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care in a clinical setting. This role includes floor care, emergency response in the ER, code response, and participation in rapid response situations. The position requires the therapist to float between units based on patient needs and acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as per physician orders.
• Perform assessments and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Manage aerosols, CPAP, and BiPAP setups.
• Provide tracheostomy care and manage airway placements.
• Assist in emergency medical procedures and response.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Washington state RRT license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Level II or Level I trauma centers is preferred.
