Day Shift: 3x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00), Monday to Friday, approximately 24 hours/week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide therapy services in a critical access hospital setting. The therapist will primarily work inpatient therapy, floating between units based on needs and therapist capabilities. The role offers a flexible schedule with potential variations in workdays based on hospital census.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for lower acuity inpatient populations, including a variety of diagnoses such as deconditioning, weakness, and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Utilize assistive devices and adaptive technologies to enhance patient mobility and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical observations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist License in Washington State.
• Current BLS certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
