This position involves a 3x12-hour night schedule, working from 19:00 to 07:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Tele RN will provide nursing care in a cardiac and medical telemetry unit, managing patients with various telemonitoring needs. The role requires expertise in telemetry, vital sign monitoring, and direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a telemetry setting with an emphasis on cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Perform assessments and monitor vital signs while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and more.
• Utilize electronic charting systems for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in PA or a Compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or cardiac unit.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current at submission.
• Charting system experience required; Cerner experience preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
