Interventional Radiology Tech

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday. On-call is required from 17:00 to 07:00, with weekend call rotation every fourth weekend, subject to staffing requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care, and collaborating effectively with radiologic staff and medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures for adult patients (18+).
• Utilize equipment such as Siemens Artis-Q machines and PURE Software.
• Collaborate with a team of Rad Techs and RNs, maintaining a ratio of 3 to 4 per case.
• Administer common drips such as heparin infused saline during procedures.
• Potential to run to C-Arm in OR/ENDO procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current NY state license in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience is required; 2 years preferred.
