Registered Nurse - Infusion Center

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:30 - 17:00, 09:00 - 17:30, or 09:30 - 18:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in an infusion center to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care for various oncological conditions, including solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, and chronic leukemia.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Perform bone marrow aspirations and intravesicular chemotherapy.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize advanced equipment, including ultrasound-guided IV machines and blood warmers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, particularly in infusion or outpatient oncology settings.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ONS/ONCC certifications required; ACLS and OCN preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
