Schedule

Night and Day rotating shifts: 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30; 07:00 - 19:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires floating to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to provide care for a similar patient population. The nurse will work within a dynamic environment to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythm.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Traveler must have at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required.
