Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room is accountable for delivering exceptional care to patients in accordance with the Nursing Process and the Nurse Practice Act. Utilizing critical thinking and scientific judgment, the RN will coordinate and deliver safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Delegate care responsibilities and supervise nursing staff.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room RN.
• Successful completion of at least 2 previous travel assignments is required.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training certifications.
• Preferably hold TNCC certification and have Cerner experience.
