Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting. The nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One professional reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required.
