Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with a minimum requirement to work every other holiday.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions, utilizing telemetry monitoring to assess the patient's cardiac status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and monitor patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or compact state license necessary.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current and in hand.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completion required during orientation.
