Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Full-time schedule of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) as per department rotation. No on-call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality care to patients in an emergency setting. The role requires expertise in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in an emergency department setting preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• All candidates must be located 75+ miles from the contract facility.
