MRI Technologist

Job Description

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on diverse patient populations for physician interpretation. This position involves working under general supervision and may require additional duties as deemed necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations on patients.
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and assist in its operation and troubleshooting.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff for optimal patient care.

Schedule

This position is primarily a Monday to Friday schedule, with shifts available from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Alternative shift options include a 4x10 or 3x12 schedule.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred; ARMRIT or state license not required.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
