Operating Room Nurse

This position is scheduled from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and guarantees 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role involves preparing patients for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort, and communicating essential information regarding the procedure and its potential outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the surgical process.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment to ensure safety and sterility.
• Assist in positioning patients and providing necessary support during procedures.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience.
• NCCT certification is required.
