This position operates on a schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

Operating Room Nurses are essential professionals who care for patients throughout the surgical process. They ensure patients are appropriately prepared for surgery and provide crucial information regarding expected outcomes and potential risks of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring they are calm and informed.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the surgical process.
• Communicate with patients and their families about care before and after procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA is required.
• Experience in general, orthopedic, and neurosurgery procedures is necessary.
