Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide high-quality care to patients in a medical and surgical telemetry unit, with the potential to float to other units as needed. The RN will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemedicine setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• A reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is mandatory.
