Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with specialized experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) settings. The ideal candidate will work primarily within RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU departments, providing high-level care to pediatric patients. This position requires the ability to float to various NICUs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to pediatric patients in high acuity settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and engage in charting using community hospital systems.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including safety and compliance protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Active Ohio RRT license required.
• Current certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience with high-level care and patient ratios in a trauma setting preferred.
• Ability to pass a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within the last 12 months.
