Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for a night shift position. This role is critical as we expand our Surgical ICU and IMC units due to the retirement of two staff members, increasing vacancy to 30 open positions. The qualified candidate will provide respiratory care for a diverse patient population within a tertiary, teaching hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across various units, including NICU/PICU and adult acute and critical care.
• Administer treatments and monitor patients' progress.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment such as Drager and Hamilton ventilators.
• Collaborate with medical staff to implement treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred; NRP certification required for NICU.
• Active RRT credential is mandatory.
• Must be flexible with shifts and willing to float as needed.
