Every other weekend, with shifts from 11a-11p and 3p-3a available.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) plays a crucial role in providing quality care to patients in an emergency setting. With a focus on fast-paced medical conditions, the ER RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients’ conditions and determining the required treatment
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and reporting any changes
• Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Conducting patient education and discharge planning

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse
• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS Certification required
• ATCN or TNCC certification is required
• EPIC experience is mandatory
