Registered Nurse - Oncology

This is a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with oncology experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in managing chemotherapy infusion patients and be prepared to complete the necessary training to administer vesicant and non-vesicant chemotherapy. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for oncology patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy under the appropriate guidelines.
• Monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Completion of ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course preferred.
• OCN certification is a plus.

This is a 13-week contract position.
