Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Services team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and manage ventilators for patients in critical care and general medical floors.
• Perform diagnostic tests and evaluate respiratory function.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care practices and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using the EMR system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NRP certification preferred
