Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care and treatment for patients, working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of respiratory therapy practices and essential equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapies and treatments to patients of all ages.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments.
• Assist with ventilator management and setup of respiratory equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and therapies in EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, preferably in the emergency department or critical care settings.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Must have an active North Carolina Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care is required.
