3x12's, rotating days-of-the-week, varied shifts, call required. Shift may center around graveyard hours.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic MRI scans and assisting the radiologist and referring physicians with MRI procedures. The role involves ensuring patient care while adhering to the standards of quality and accuracy as set by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality MRI images while operating MRI scanning equipment.
• Providing patient care and ensuring a safe environment.
• Responding to the technical challenges of operating MRI scanners.
• Assisting in MRI procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Communicating effectively with patients and staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Floating to other areas of the organization as needed, based on competency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience.
• ARRT certification; preference given to certification in MRI.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Experience with either GE or Philips scanners.
