Interventional Radiology Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures to support patient care in an advanced imaging environment. This role requires expertise in neuro imaging techniques and the ability to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interventional radiology and special procedure imaging.
• Perform equipment setup and maintain sterile fields during procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation and ensure proper access site prep.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a neuro interventional radiology setting.
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and various angiographic procedures including carotid angiography, embolization, and stent placements.
• Prior experience in a Stroke Certified Hospital is preferred.
• Proficiency in the use of PACS and maintaining imaging equipment.
