3X12-hour shifts, with varied nightshift hours and rotating days. Call is required.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic MRI scans, assisting radiologists and referring physicians with MRI procedures, and ensuring quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of technical skills and advanced physics necessary to operate MRI equipment efficiently and accurately while delivering high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Assist radiologists during MRI procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in the operation of various MRI scanners.
• Participate in after-hours standby and callback time as needed.
• Perform additional duties related to imaging as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in MRI is required.
• BLS (AHA) certification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of MRI experience is required.
• Experience with either GE or Philips scanners is preferred.
