Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:30). On-call shifts are 12 hours, with weeknight coverage from 7 pm to 7 am and weekend coverage either from 7 pm to 7 am or 7 am to 7 pm.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care in the Operating Room / Perioperative Services department. The role involves circulating and scrubbing for various surgical specialties, including Orthopedic, General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Spine, ENT, and Robotics.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for various surgeries including total joints, neuro/spine, OB-GYN, trauma, and robotics.
• Administer sedation, blood products, and manage drains and epidural pumps.
• Perform Central Line and Port-A-Cath/Vascular access and care.
• Provide wound care including the use of wound vacs.
• Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and active compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred).
• Experience with robotics and ENT procedures strongly preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
