This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) and Day 5x8-Hour (11:00 - 19:30). Call requirements include one weeknight per week and one weekend every 6 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse - OR Circulating will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in the operating room. The ideal candidate will have previous OR circulating experience and is preferred to have charge experience. The position will not require floating between units and does include on-call responsibilities. The OR team covers general, ortho, neuro, GYN, OB (C-sections), ENT, plastics, vascular, and eyes services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide patient-centered care.
• Monitor patients’ progress and respond to any changes in condition.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid WA or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Previous OR circulating experience required; charge experience preferred.
• Travel experience is required.
• Certifications in BLS are mandatory.
