Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting the radiologist in procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care. This role requires proficiency in CT imaging techniques and equipment, alongside effective patient management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures of the human body according to established guidelines.
• Assist in the coordination of daily workflows within the CT department.
• Ensure optimal patient care through assessment, planning, and implementation of care practices.
• Maintain current CPR certification and participate in mandatory in-services.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist.
• Maintain proficiency with in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum two years of clinical experience in CT imaging required.
• Experience in trauma imaging is required.
• Licensure: American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography.
• Current AHA BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
