Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a Level II Trauma facility. We provide critical care to children with a wide range of medical needs. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure in a teaching hospital environment and prioritize patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting.
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including intensivists and respiratory therapists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in a PICU setting.
• BLS and PALS certification required.
• CRRT experience and APHON Pediatric Teaching Hospital experience preferred.
